BREAKING. Alphas on The Universal Channel cancelled after two seasons; viewers thanked for their 'tremendous support'.


Alphas seen in South Africa on The Universal Channel (DStv 117) just got cancelled after just two seasons.

The science fiction drama about people with superhuman powers and abilities who solved cases for the CIA, FBI and the Pentagon, got axed.

"We've been proud to present this entertaining, high-quality series for two seasons and to work with an incredible ensemble of talented actors, producers and creatives as well as our partners at BermanBraun Television," says the Syfy channel which showed Alphas in America in a statement.

"We'd like to thank the show’s dedicated regular viewers for their tremendous support."
