Sky News covering the American presidential election with Jeremy Thompson in Chicago and Kay Burley in Las Vegas.


Sky News (DStv 402) will be covering the American presidential election and will start on Tuesday morning at 08:00 (South African time) with Sunrise and Kay Burley in Las Vegas and carry on right through until 01:00 Wednesday morning. Already in New York, is Andrew Wilson who will be reporting from the key swing state, Ohio.

Sky News says its mounting the 24-hour British news channel's most ambitious and comprehensive US election coverage in the organisation's history with presenters in Las Vegas, Chicago, Ohio, Boston, Washington and correspondents across key swing states.

Sky News' Jeremy Thompson will anchor the election night coverage from Chicago, presenting from Trump Tower.

Dominic Waghorn, US correspondent, will be in Chicago as well, reporting live with the Obama team with Jon Christopher Bua, US political analyst. Jeff Randall will also be there to present Jeff Randall Live on the days before and after election day.

Greg Milam will be reporting live from Boston with the Romney team. Adam Boulton, Sky News' political editor will provide analysis and commentary from Washington D.C.

Sky News also has Amanda Walker in Florida, Michelle Clifford in Iowa, Tim Marshall in Ohio, Ian Woods in Virginia and Sophy Ridge in Colorado.
