Sir David Frost's talk show on Al Jazeera turning into hour long episodes for the new series of The Frost Interview.

Sir David Frost is returning to his in-depth style for his weekly talk show on Al Jazeera (DStv 406 / TopTV 401) but his Frost Over the World is changing duration and name to a new format and will now be entitled The Frost Interview for the next new series.

The new format, The Frost Interview, will see Sir David Frost sit down for hour long interviews with decision makers and world shapers and famous people from the world of arts, science, politics and business. The new series will include interviews with Sir Paul McCartney, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Carlos Acosta and others.

"The new format allows for a much deeper conversation with globally renowned figures that our past format of five to ten minute chats," says Paul Eedle, the director of programmes at Al Jazeera English. People open up to Sir David as to no other interviewer in the world, so we're delighted to be working with him on the new programme."

"I'm immensely enjoying making this series," says Sir David Frost. "We've got a fantastic mix of individuals lined up that will entertain and inform viewers. I've found the longer conversation not just allows us to go into more depth, but relaxes interviewees to talk more about their life and work," he says.
