BREAKING. Dinner Divas coming to SABC2 from 13 October, pitting South African food bloggers against each other.

A new 13-part reality cookery TV show, Dinner Divas, will start on SABC2 on Saturday, 13 October at 08:30 pitting well-known South African food bloggers against each other.

Dinner Divas is set to start on SABC2 just as the second season of Come Dine with Me South Africa is about to start on BBC Entertainment (DStv 120), the first season of Junior MasterChef Australia is about to start on M-Net (DStv 101), the reality braai competition Ultimate Braai-Master is on SABC3, the Home Channel (DStv 182) has Cook-Off SA and the first season of Charly's Cake Angels starts on the Food Network (DStv 185).

In Dinner Divas, produced by 2 Blonds and a Redhead Filming, a panel of expert food judges will judge the competing bloggers' chances of being named the best food blogger.

The plan is to turn it into an annual event to find South Africa's best food blogger. Dinner Divas will announce a food blogger winner on 5 January who gets R50 000 in cash and the title of "Ultimate Dinner Diva 2012".
