SABC1 is "very excited" about the second season of its successful HIV/Aids drama, Intersexions, the second season of which is currently in pre-production.
Quizzical Pictures is producing the second season of the local drama. "We're very excited about the development of Intersextions II, and we know from ongoing viewer feedback that many, many South Africans are as well," says Phuti Moloto, SABC1's portfolio manager for the drama genre in a statement about the show.
"We are entrenching the gritty realism and authenticity of the first season, which truly captured viewers' hearts."
The first season of Intersextions was shown in late 2010, with several rebroadcasts since.
