The Legend of Korra is coming to Nickelodeon (DStv 305) starting on Sunday 2 September at 10:00 (with a repeat at 18:00).
The animation show started on Nickelodeon in America in April, and is a spin-off sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender.
As in Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra is set in the same mystical world where some people can "bend" elements such as earth, fire, water and air - but not all of them.
The new animation show follows Korra as she travels to the sprawling metropolis of Republic City to learn airbending and come into contact with an anti-bender revolutionary group, known as the "Equalists".
Before long Korra's Avatar skills are put to the test when she encounters a group of Chi-blockers led by the charismatic and mysterious Amon who threatens the city and all the benders in it.
