ESPN (DStv 230) has the American football player Ron Gronkowski (above) as one of the many athletes who've posed for ESPN The Magazine's fourth annual "The Body Issue" which is on sale now and for which more than two dozen athletes posed. At www.espn.com/bodyissue there's more images and behind the scenes video from the issue.

ESPN The Magazine which is out weeks before the 2012 London Olympic Games starts, has 27 sport stars from across the world on 6 different covers: Rob Gronkowski, Jose Bautista, Tyson Chandler, Daniela Hantuchova, Candace Parker and Ronda Rousey.

This year's The Body Issue will also spotlight American Olympic athletes, including the decathlete Ashton Eaton, the track superstar Carmelita Jeter and the women of the USA volleyball team. The issue "is an exploration of the wide variety that is the athletic form, demonstrated through creative photography, in-depth interviews and a variety of features" says ESPN, showing the sleekest of physiques in sports.
