The switch of Q Music with Box TV comes after TopTV yanked the Portuguese TV channel RTPi off the TopTV platform at midnight on Saturday for which TopTV will be finding a replacement channel.
Box TV, a music video channel, specialises in the music genres popular in sub-Saharan Africa and South Africa, including kwaito and Nigerian hip hop.
Box Television Limited is a joint venture between Bauer Media and Channel 4 - www.boxtv.co.uk.
Shows on Box TV include International Superstars, Africa's Most Wanted, Urban A List, Hip Hop Anthems & Future Beats, Get on the Dancefloor, Hip Hop Non Stop, Massive Hip Hop & R&B and Party2Nite.
