Faik Sulaiman, the general manager of human resources at MultiChoice South Africa is gone from the pay TV operator with immediate effect.
Faik Sulaiman was the general manager of human resources since 2002; he joined M-Net in 1994 as a customer care representative in the customer care centre.
Faik Sulaiman has been on a four month sabattical since February this year, and has now resigned from MultiChoice. The position of HR manager is now vacant.
Imtiaz Patel, the group CEO of MultiChoice South Africa told staff that the position will be reviewed and that an announcement will be made shortly.
No specific reasons for Faik Sulaiman leaving the company was given, although Imtiaz Patel said "Faik has now made the decision to pursue new challenges and opportunities which means he has resigned from his position with the group with immediate effect."
