TopTV CEO Eddie Mbalo: 'We are young; we have made mistakes, and hopefully we have learned from our mistakes.'

TopTV showed to Cape Town journalists the same video the South Africa pay TV operator showed to Johannesburg journalists last month at a press screening in which the new interim TopTV CEO, Eddie Mbalo, says the new company made mistakes but is charting a new course.

''2012 is both a new start for TopTV and for me," says Eddie Mbalo. "We commit to improving customer relations with our subscribers, a better working relationship with our suppliers, and of course a better and improved content offering on our platform."

"We want to take TopTV to its next level of development," he says. "I would like to thank our loyal subscribers that have been with us since the beginning. We are young; we have made mistakes, and hopefully we have learned from our mistakes."

"We are going to give our customers a world-class experience that is both informative and entertaining. What our subscribers can expect is an excellent alternative pay TV experience. With our dedicated staff we've committed ourselves to fulfilling that gap. I would like to promise excellent customer service, but also fresh and innovative programming," says Eddie Mbalo.

"We're calling on our subscribers to engage with us. And that could be done through email webmaster@toptv.co.za, twitter, Facebook and all other social media. We are here to listen to you. Come along with us on this great new adventure with TopTV."
