The new drama show Missing on M-Net got cancelled while CSI: NY (M-Net, SABC3, The Universal Channel) as the cheaper of the two CSI spin-offs - as well as Private Practice (M-Net) and Body of Proof (M-Net) got a reprieve for further seasons.
CSI: NY's 8th, and likely final season of 18 episodes, Private Practice's shortened 6th season and Body of Proof's 3rd season will all likely be the respective series' last.
Missing, currently on the M-Net channel, won't be back, and follows CSI: Miami, NYC22, GCB, The Secret Circle, The River and Alcatraz as American TV dramas seen or soon to be seen in South Africa that got cancelled over the weekend.
