I can exclusively break the news and tell first that Come Dine with Me South Africa has been renewed for a second season and that a second series of Come Dine with Me SA will start on BBC Entertainment (DStv 120) later this year for 12 new episodes.
An official announcement is expected to be made later today or possibly next week, but insiders tell me that Come Dine With Me South Africa will be back for a second series on South African television.

Sources tell me that ITV Studios and BBC Worldwide have agreed to commission a second series of the amazing Come Dine with Me South Africa which was not only beloved by critics for its high production values but caused big viewer chatter for the quirky amateur "masterchef" contestants.
The format show was a massive viewership success, averaging a phenomenal 100 000 viewers per episode and breaking viewership records in the timeslot.
I'm also told that the second season of Come Dine with Me SA will again be produced by Rapid Blue.
