I'm told the TV presenter Xylon van Eyck is battling cancer after the 27 year old has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma last month.
Xylon van Eyck who has started chemotherapy treatment is the presenter of This Generation Loud (TGL) on One Gospel (DStv 331) on Tuesdays at 19:00. After a CT scan last month revealed enlarged lymph nodes, he started chemotherapy which will probably continue for the next 6 months.
According to the channel Xylon van Eyck will try to continue presenting TGL during his treatment. ''At least no-one will be able to see if my hair falls out,'' says the bald presenter.
''On a serious note, I believe that God doesn't give us anything we can't cope with and I believe that He is with me through all my treatments, stresses and unexplained moments. My prayer remains the same: that He will open my eyes to see what He is doing in my life.''
