It happens to the best of us (or maybe only the best of us): Derek van Dam, the chief meteorologist of the eNews Channel (DStv 403) was back on television today for the first time in about a week since a scary seaside incident.
Sources tell me Derek van Dam who lives in Cape Town was involved in a yachting incident last week which was so serious that it took e.tv's weather guy days to recover. He was back on air again today.
Of course not as much as a word from e.tv about the whole sailing accident business.
