The eNews Channel is doing daily news inserts regarding the ANC political party's centenary celebrations broadcast throughout the day, with the 24 hour news channel also readying plans for live coverage of the celebrations on Sunday from 16:00 as well as a special documentary.
Besides daily news inserts, the eNews Channel is planning live coverage from Mangaung on Sunday 8 January at 16:00 under the banner of ANC turns 100.
It will be preceded on Sunday by an hour long documentary at 15:00 entitled, Coming Of Age: The African National Congress' Hundred Years Of Struggle. The documentary will look at the political party since its founding in 1912 by African intellectuals to today. The film follows the local politician, Tony Ehrenreich from Cape Town, campaigning for the ANC in a recent election, juxtaposing the more mundane struggle of today to sustain political power.
