M-Net appoints Mandy Roger from BBC Worldwide as sales and business development manager in the content provider division.

M-Net is expanding its senior sales team in its con and has appointed the former BBC Worldwide executive Mandy Roger as sales and business development manager at the pay TV broadcaster.

Mandy Roger will be working with Mike Dearham, the head of sales and library and be responsible for sales of M-Net content across all platforms as well as for new business development and strategies in new ventures, formats and channel sales.

Mandy Roger worked at M-Net before she left to join BBC Worldwide where she was a senior sales executive looking after Britain and Ireland TV sales for both terrestrial and digital TV channels, VOD and mobile sales.

''M-Net has a solid reputation for providing diverse and entertaining programming and I'm excited to be working with Mike Dearham and the team to bring its unique perspective to new audiences and driving the company forward,'' Mandy Roger said in a press statement announcing the appointment.
