I can reveal that Vuzu (DStv 123) is bringing the starting dates of both the third season of The Vampire Diaries as well as the fifth season of Gossip Girl dramatically forward in time (both shows were only supposed to start in mid-February 2012) - and will in addition to that roll them out with multiple episodes per week.
I've been aware for some that Vuzu had the third season of The Vampire Diaries, but a tentative broadcasting date was difficult to pin down and set for mid-February. Vuzu just decided today to move The Vampire Diaries to Monday 30 January with the third season that will start at 21:30. In addition The Vampire Diaries will have 3 episodes per week and be broadcast on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
In the same vein Gossip Girl is also starting sooner than originally tentatively scheduled. The fifth season of Gossip Girl will start on the same day as The Vampire Diaries - on Monday 30 January at 20:30. The fifth season of Gossil Girl on Vuzu will also unspool with new episodes on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
What this means is that the Vuzu schedule - suffering manic scheduling chances as of late - will once again be disrupted from the end of January 2012.
From Tuesday 31 January the remaining episodes of the 8th season of One Tree Hill on Vuzu will be moving from the 20:30 timeslot an hour earlier to 19:30. In addition, One Tree Hill adds another new episodes on Saturdays at 19:30. One Tree Hill will therefore have two new episodes weekly, on Tuesdays as well as Saturdays.
