BREAKING. Vuzu's V Entertainment magazine show to broadcast live from the 2011 Channel O Music Video Awards on 11 November at 19:00.

For all the so-called talk about ''synergy'' and ''leveraging brands'' in the corporate world, sometimes it's television that practically shows how it can really be done, and done best: Channel O (DStv 320) just announced that the fellow M-Net sister channel Vuzu (DStv 123) will be covering the 2011 Channel O Music Video Awards live on 11 November with the entertainment news magazine show V Entertainment.

In an apt and clever TV cross-promotion, the local and daily V Entertainment will be doing red carpet duty at the 2011 Channel O Music Video Awards - with the actual ceremony of course being broadcast live on Channel O just after that. DStv subscribers will therefore be able to watch red carpet coverage on Vuzu, and would then be able to switch to Channel O to watch the ceremony.

In a just-issued press release Channel O says the red carpet duty of the hour long V Entertainment broadcast on Vuzu will be done by Siyabonga ''Scoop''Ngwekazi and Lalla ''Miss LA'' Hirayama from 19:00. The special V Entertainment coverage will include a number of pre-packaged segments that will look back at the best moments of Africa's longest running continent wide music awards event.

The 2011 Channel O Video Music Awards will follow on Channel O at 21:00 with hosts Dineo Moeketsi and Banky W.
