I can spill that Star! (TopTV 179) has secured the broadcasting rights to Miss USA 2011 pageant which took place in June and which the channel will broadcast on Saturday 8 October at 12:00 (South African time).
Star! got Miss USA 2011 pageant shortly after I broke the news last week that Star! snagged Miss Universe 2011 for September. Miss Universe 2011 that is shown in September will get a repeat broadcast in October on the day after the Miss USA 2011 broadcast - it will be repeated on Sunday 9 October at 12:00.
Miss USA 2011 - the 60th anniversary of this pageant - took place in June in Las Vegas with Andy Cohen and Giuliana Rancic from E! Entertainment as the hosts.
