Jou Show met Emo and Wicus getting a facelift; looking for studio audience members for the new season currently recorded in Cape Town.
The talk and variety show Jou Show met Emo is set to return for a new season to kykNET (DStv 111) around September or October on the Afrikaans satellite channel and is currently recording two episodes per day in front of a live studio audience at GrandWest casino in Cape Town from now until next Tuesday 12 July.
Jou Show met Emo is getting a facelift from production company Homebrew Films and is becoming Jou Show met Emo en Wicus - as in Wicus van der Merwe. This new season of Jou Show met Emo en Wicus will strongly resemble what viewers get with Ellen DeGeneres in Ellen and The Graham Norton Show - pranks, guests, games, craziness and performances.
The producers are looking for studio audience members. Tickets are available at Computicket at R50 which gives access at GrandWest to the recording of two shows per night with doors opening at 19:30. Celebrities on Jou Show met Emo en Wicus this season include Tammy-Anne Fortuin, Marion Holm, Lizz Meiring, Danie Niehaus, Dowwe Dolla, Lise Swart, Pedro Kruger, Neels van Jaarsveld, Martelize Kolver and Andre the Hilarious Hypnotist.
