BREAKING. Jonathan Levy appointed at Sky News as the new head of news gathering.

Sky News (DStv 402) just announced that Jonathan Levy has been appointed as head of news gathering, from August.

Sky News, calling the position ''one of the most important within the newsroom'' will see Jonathan Levy in charge of how the 24 hour British news channel delivers the news agenda to viewers across Britain and 115 countries around the world.

Jonathan Levy who joined Sky News in 2002 from NBC's office in London will work alongside John Ryley, head of Sky News and Chris Birkess, executive editor and deputy head of Sky News.
