CNBC Africa says the first Africa Business Leaders Awards will take place in Johannesburg.
The awards ceremony is aimed at honouring business leadership from South, East, North and West Africa and will hand out awards in five categories that include a lifetime achievement, young business leader of the year award, Africa business woman of the year, Africa entrepreneur of the year and the Africa business leader of the year award. There will be three finalists per category and they will all get profiled at the October gala event.
People from across the continent can now be nominated on the website at http://www.abla2011.com/ and entries will close at the end of July.
