Cobus Bodenstein/M-Net
The 3rd episode of the 7th season of Idols this evening at 17:30 on M-Net had a shark apparently singing at an inaudible frequency before the Idols judges as well as several contestants who made it through to the Theatre round at Sun City that viewers will see in July.
In the episode viewers saw some dubious contestants, bad voices and some terribly bad decisions by contestants from across KwaZulu/Natal - but also surpringly great talent that could spell a better than usual representation from this province in the reality show.
Some of the contestants who received golden tickets to the Theatre Round of Idols are Phillip Du Plessis (22) from Vryheid, Prime Zulu (23) from Durban, Josslyn Hlenti (20) from Newlands East, Sibusisiwe Jai (''Miss J'') (20) from Inanda, Jonathan Grayson (18) from Pietermaritzburg, Phakamani Mngomezulu (20) from Morningside, Darren Frances (19) from Durban, Martin Creed (16) from Everton, Erin Fourie (26) from Pietermaritzburg, Melissa Allison (22) from Bramley, Jessica Solimene (19) from Ballito and Shekhinah Donnell (16) from Umbilo.
