SABC3 has acquired the broadcasting rights to the family drama The Good Wife, currently in its second season on M-Net, the first season of which is set to start on SABC3 on Tuesday, 24 May in the primetime slot of 20:30. There will be 24 episodes.
The Good Wife revolves around Julianna Margulies as Alicia, the wife of politician Peter Florrick (Chris North). Alicia's forced to return to work as a lawyer (whilst being a mom) at a prestigious law firm to provide for her family after her husband's sex scandal which lands him in prison.
