BOO! Boy band Blue teaming up with the KidsCo show Boo & Me to help the Sepilok orangutan sanctuary in Malaysia.

Boy band Blue is partnering with the kids show Boo & Me on KidsCo (DStv 308 / TopTV 255) with the pop group who will feature as an animated version of themselves in a special upcoming episode.

The South African broadcasting date of the Boo & Me episode on KidsCo featuring Blue haven't been provided by the children's channel, although it will go out from Monday in some of the 95 territories where KidsCo as a TV channel is seen.

Blue will be singing their song ''I Can'' in a Boo & Me episode and will appear in animation form in the episode. They've also decided to sponsor a real-life orangutan at the Sepilok sanctuary, naming him ''Blue''.

''We've enjoyed seeing our animated selves alongside Boo, and hope the viewers enjoy watching us perform with our extra band member,'' says Blue band member Duncan James in a statement. ''Asking Blue to be a part of our new Boo & Me series is a perfect fit for KidsCo. Helping save the environment is close to their hearts, as is educating children of all ages to do their bit,'' says Paul Robinson, global CEO of KidsCo.
