BREAKING. Oprah Winfrey, Blake Lively, Joe Scarborough, Amy Poehler and Ayman Mohyeldin are TV's most influential says TIME.


Televisionary and TV talk show host Oprah Winfrey, who's made the list numerous time before, is one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2011 according to TIME magazine that just released its annual 2011 TIME 100 list for this year.

Besides Oprah Winfrey, other TV-centric people who topped TIME's list of 100 people include Ayman Mohyeldin, the relentless TV correspondent who covered the unrest in Egypt earlier this year with unsettling clarity for Al Jazeera (DStv 406 / TopTV 401).

Also included are Amy Poehler from the comedy show Parks & Recreation on M-Net (DStv 101), Matthew Weiner who's the creator of the TV show Mad Men, Joe Scarborough of the breakfast show Morning Joe on MSNBC (TopTV 410), Blake Lively of Gossip Girl on Vuzu (DStv 123), Chris Colfer of Glee on M-Net (soon Vuzu) (DStv 123), actor and TV producer Mark Wahlberg and TV producer Rebecca Eaton.
