Programming note: CNBC Africa, CNN International and the Fox News Channel readying special Japan disaster coverage for Monday.

The DStv EPG might show Asia Squawk Box from 01:30 but trust me that from 02:00 on Monday morning (South African time) - in 4 hours time - CNBC's Melissa Francis and Tyler Mathisen will both anchor a special report (09:00 in Tokyo) on CNBC Africa (DStv 410). The special will look at what the impact of Friday's earthquake in Japan might have from Monday as the Asian financial markets open - as well as for the rest of the day and the coming week around the world.

Viewers looking for Japan earthquake and tsunami coverage will also find that the CNBC special will be covering the crisis facing Japan's nuclear infrastructure as well. Melissa Francis and Tyler Mathisen will be doing the show from CNBC's headquarters in New Jersey with CNBC Asia correspondents.

Don't trust the DStv EPG, it's hopelessly incorrect. CNN International (DStv 401) will have a special two hour Anderson Cooper 360 starting at 03:00 Monday morning (South African time, 10:00 Tokyo time) about the Japan earthquake. Anderson Cooper is in Japan together with dr. Sanjay Gupta and Soledad O'Brien. CNN International's correspondents like Kyung Lah based in Tokyo for CNN will contribute, as well as correspondents Anna Coren, Stan Grant, Paula Hancocks and Gary Tuchman.

Don't trust the TopTV EPG, it's hopelessly incorrect. Fox News Channel (TopTV 405) will have an extended 2 hour Geraldo at Large from 07:00 Monday morning (South African time with a repeat at 11:00) about the Japan disaster instead of just his usual hour long show. Shepard Smith is also on his way to Tokyo and will be doing his weekday show Studio B with Shepard Smith Monday night at 21:00 (SA time) from Tokyo. Greta van Susteren would also have gone to Tokyo but the Fox News Channel axed the idea 4 hours ago.
