Programming note: BBC World News adds World Have Your Say Extra after success of main show.

BBC World News (DStv 400 / TopTV 400) just started a new show World Have Your Say Extra on Fridays at 21:30 as an additional programme to the popular World Have Your Say on Fridays at 17:00. BBC World News says the new show has been created to accomodate ''the large volume of calls and social media traffic generated by the interactive discussion show World Have your Say.''

Ros Atkins who hosts World Have Your Say is the presenter of World Have Your Say Extra as well. The new additional show covers a round-up of the best audience online, email and telephone interactions.

 ''This special bulletin is a great way of accommodating the volume of interactions coming into the show and provides a forum for as many different viewpoints and opinions as possible,'' says Mark Sandell, editor of World Have Your Say in a press release.
