BREAKING. SABC2 suddenly yanks the upcoming 7th season of NCIS from the schedule, will replace it with In Plain Sight.

You're reading it here first.

I can break the news that SABC2 is yanking the upcoming and scheduled 7th season of forensic crime drama NCIS off the schedule. The 7th season of NCIS was supposed to start this coming Sunday, 13 March on the broadcaster.

I have no idea why and everyone I asked also don't know why. It could be that the video cassettes haven't arrived, that the contract haven't been signed with the distributor, or probably some other issue. Although broadcasters don't usualy volunteer an answer or respond to media enquiries, it's unusual for insiders to not know.

Early last month I broke the news RIGHT HERE that SABC2 snagged the rights to the 7th season and is planning to broadcast it from March. Now NCIS has become the second show within a week that is pulled on short notice after SABC2 pulled the start of the new late night talker The Mo'Nique Show this past Friday.

NCIS will now be replaced this coming Sunday night by the second season of In Plain Sight.
