Getroud met Rugby (''Married to Rugby'') on kykNET (DStv 111) filmed a feature length film that will be released in cinemas on 11 March and is set between the 2nd and 3rd seasons of the TV drama about rugby players and their tumultuous lives.
Getroud met Rugby - Die onvertelde verhaal (''The untold story'') centers mostly around Reghardt Venter (Izak Davel) and Fafa Beltrame (Altus Theart) and I can be first to show some behind the scenes photos.
Izak Davel plays a mechanic from the wrong side of the tracks who used to be a promising rugby player but lost his way. Altus Theart is the Stryders wing who became an alcoholic after separating from his wife after losing their daughter.
