Out of about 700
Idols contestants 24 have made it through from the Cape Town audition process for the 7th season of
Idols on M-Net.
The 700 people who showed up this past Saturday for
Idols try-outs is about half of the 1 400 people who turned out in April last year for the 6th season. Then 27 contestants all got a golden ticket to the next phase called the ''Theatre Round'', so compared to that Cape Town actually did better year sending through more contestants ''per
Idols capita'' than in 2010.
