The 24 hour news channels BBC World News (TopTV 400 / DStv 400), Sky News (DStv 402) and Al Jazeera (DStv 408 / TopTV 401) have all been nominated in the category News Channel of the Year for the Royal Television Society (RTS) in Britain's annual RTS Television Journalism Awards 2011.
CNN International (DStv 401) is nominated in the category for Innovative News award for its World Cup Twitter buzz visualization. The RTS Television Journalism Awards 2011 will take place on Wednesday, 23 February at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
