The first episode of 2011 of the weekly Afrikaans entertainment magazine show Kwêla on kykNET (DStv 111) goes out tonight at 20:00 and I've watched it.
Kwêla makes a visit to Parys in the Free State and Sanet Joubert-Walters who've created a bus restaurant and boutique shop in the small town. kykNET's Glam Guru presenter Hannon Bothma is in the studio to talk about his new French perfume range, Be Glam by Day and Be Glam by Night. Lise Swart visits Slovenia in a travelogue as well as wine taster extraordinaire Aubrey Olckers. Artist Ray Dylan is also in the studio, Lise Swart talks to writer and blogger Carol Langenhoven known as ''Tallie''.
Next week Vinette Ebrahim, Charmaine from 7de Laan, will be in the Kwêla studio and the Slovenia travelogue will continue.
