Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton will be available in high definition (HD); possible 3D.
If DStv wants to, it would be able to. The wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton on 29 April 2011 will definitely be broadcast by the BBC in high definition (HD) says the British broadcaster, which means that MultiChoice would be able to broadcast it to DStv subscribers in some or other fashion of the inclination to provide this to viewers exists.

Not yet definite - but they're certainly thinking about it - is BSkyB in Britain (that runs Sky News for instance) mulling a possible 3D broadcast of the wedding. That might not yet be feasible or possible for South Africa's MultiChoice or On Digital Media (ODM). Both the BBC and BSkyB have met already with Buckingham Palace officials at Clarence House to talk about the broadcasting arrangements for April's Royal Wedding.
