Journalists across Africa have exactly one month left from today to enter the most prestigious journalism competition on the continent, the CNN MultiChoice African Journalist Awards 2011. Entries will close on 27 January 2011.
The best work from African journalists (those working for media companies as well as freelancers) that they created between January 2010 and December 2010 are eligible and there's several categories in which journalists can enter RIGHT HERE at www.cnn.com/WORLD/africa/africanawards/.
The CNN MultiChoice African Journalist Awards 2011 will take place in June in Johannesburg, South Africa and if you're a journalist who told a story with which you tried to enlighten, stir, affect change, or bring a sense of enjoyment, you need to enter right now. The organizers say no deadline extension will be given.
