BREAKING. Bloody brilliant: M-Net returns the vampire drama True Blood to its schedule due to popular demand.

You're reading it here first.

Bloody brilliant! I can exclusively reveal that - get this! - the vampy and super sexy vampire drama True Blood is returning to M-Net due to popular demand with the pay broadcaster that shipped the show off to M-Net Action (DStv 110) in October for the third season, bringing the bitchy and biting supernatural residents of Bon Temps back to M-Net in 2011!

M-Net that simply never takes a show from another channel (it's against the pay broadcaster's policy to run a series that has premiered on another channel) was simply inundated by viewer requests about True Blood. Now M-Net has decided to return True Blood to its true proper place on the M-Net schedule from next year.

The pay broadcaster just confirmed to me that the third season of this critically acclaimed show (although it was shown on M-Net Action) will be on M-Net starting on Saturday, January 8, 2011 for 12 episodes. ''In this case, due to overwhelming popularity and demand, True Blood has been returned to M-Net for the public's entertainment,'' the channel tells me. Awesome news! Get ready for werewolves on the loose, the addition of a wonderful new werewolf character and a really ''twisted'' sex scene (well, actually one of many).
