ABACADAB-, uhm, BREAKING. e.tv unveils the magic in 2011 as the broadcaster (gulp) decides to break the magician's code . . .

You're reading it here first.

e.tv might get some serious hate mail early in 2011, which mind you, might just be delivered by owl. Usually I'm before the rest of the muggle press covering TV stuff, and for once I'm actually delighted to also be beating that ol' hyped-up, tattle-tale Rita Skeeter as well with the magic scoop.

I can be first to tell you that e.tv has added the highly-controversial show, Breaking the Magicians' Code: Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed to its programming line-up for 2011. The show that spills and shows how popular magic tricks are performed, will debut on Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 18:00 (moving to 18:05 from the second episode).

The Masked Magician (masked out of fear of retaliation by magicians since he's breaking the code all magicians swear to to never reveal how these things are done) perform large illusions and various small tricks, and then reveals how they're done. Magicians in America were simply furious when the show was broadcast there on Fox, claiming its destroying their livelihood.

I can also tell you first that e.tv has picked up Street Court, a courtroom show with the former Broolyn assistant district attorney Michael Mazzriello. ''Judge Mazz'' as he's known will be on e.tv on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 17:30 from January 11, when Street Court replaces Medical Detectives in the timeslot.
