The eNews Channel that launched in June 2008 has been the most popular 24 hour news channel on DStv for quite some time now, outperforming all the others. Its continuing to grow, aided in large part to its inclusion on the DStv Compact bouquet. The latest AMPS viewership information now pegs the eNews Channel at 1,1 million viewers.That's 56% more that the eNews Channel's closest competitor news channel.
The eNews Channel is followed by BBC World News (DStv 400) (719 000 viewers), CNN International (DStv 401) (583 000 viewers), Sky News (DStv 402) (454 000 viewers), CNBC Africa (DStv 410) (107 000 viewers) and Summit TV (DStv 412) (53 000 viewers).
