I can exclusively reveal that the second season of the hot hot hot The Vampire Diaries will debut on Vuzu (DStv 123) in early February 2011.
The second season just started in America and is performing awesomely in the viewership ratings race. Locally in South Africa The Vampire Diaries is burning up the ratings charts as well - especially since Vuzu was added to the DStv Compact bouquet that's given a huge boost to the audience figures for this vampire teen drama.
The second season of the delicious The Vampire Diaries with Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder will debut early in February on Vuzu for another 22 episodes.
My initial enquiry prompted Vuzu with the reaction that the channel will be rebroadcasting the complete first season of The Vampire Diaries from Monday, October 4 at 20:30. ''Vampire Diaries has been rated by our viewers as one of the best shows of the year so far,'' says Yolisa Phahle, channel director: special interests. ''We have also received many messages on Facebook and Twitter from people asking if we can re-run the series. It makes perfect sense to re-broadcast this series ahead of the much anticipated second season that will also be first and exclusive on Vuzu.''
