BREAKING. Discovery working on a one hour special entitled, Rescued: The Chilean Mine Story, to be broadcast worldwide.
Discovery is working on a one hour TV special entitled Rescued: The Chilean Mine Story that will be broadcast in America in October and on the Discovery Channel (DStv 121) worldwide in November.
Rescued: The Chilean Mine Story will include interviews with the families of the Chilean miners who were rescued this week, the president of Chile, as well as the rescuers and the consultants that aided the rescue effort.
Discovery apparently got exclusive access to the 70 day Chilean mine disaster and the subsequent rescue mission for Rescued: The Chilean Mine Story and the TV special will focus on the ''triumph of engineering and human spirit and the extraordinary scientific and technological innovations that have been brought together to complete this miracle rescue from deep underground''.
