Carte Blanche also promises a ''mystery gift'' in Sunday night's special anniversary broadcast.
The venerable weekly M-Net investigative show has decided to turn to social networking to celebrate its 22nd anniversary that is happening this Sunday on te pay broadcaster with fans that's asked to sign up on Facebook HERE or Twitter HERE for the opportunity to influence the content of Carte Blanche.
''Viewers will be able to choose four of eight stories,'' Carte Blanche says. The story that viewers like the most, will go out first on Sunday. In a novel approach, Carte Blanche is giving viewers also direct influence in the writing the studio script by using the same social media interactive tools. Viewers will basically be ''telling Derek what so say'' since Carte Blanche anchor Derek Watts will have his normal intro and outro script available HERE. Viewers however can make any suggestions as to what Derek should say before and after each story.
