I have confirmed that it's not a hoax and can exclusively confirm that TopTV has just dropped their price to only R299 per TopTV decoder which includes the full installation and dish.
I was alerted by several people who thought it was a hoax when they were informed that TopTV is starting a ''Spring Special'' today, September 15, until October 15, whereby the normal - already super low price of R499 (that also includes free installation and a dish) is being dropped to only R299.
TopTV confirms the R299 price drop and tells me it will continue ''until stock lasts''. Another TopTV source tells me that ''should it be taken up well and people respond, we might well extend it until and during the Christmas holiday''.
