Ian McDonough upped to senior vice president and general manager for the EMEA region at BBC Worldwide.

Ian McDonough has been appointed as senior vice president and general manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at BBC Worldwide immediately, replacing Dean Possenniskie.

Ian McDonough, formerly the vice president of commercial development, will now oversee the daily management of BBC Worldwide's channels in the EMEA region, which is of course BBC Entertainment (DStv 120), BBC Knowledge (DStv 251), BBC Lifestyle (DStv 180) and CBeebies (DStv 306).
