Bemawu, one of the biggest worker unions within the SABC says the SABC is blatantly lying with the public broadcaster's dr. Ben Ngubane (who is the embattled, clueless, tarnished and now hugely disliked chairman of the new SABC board) on record for saying SABC staff ''agreed'' to rather get R1 000 each as a 2010 FIFA World Cup bonus in return for no overtime that will be paid to SABC staff who did work overtime during June and July.
''What staff, how, when, where and can we see a copy of the agreement?'' says Bemawu. ''This agreement never happened.''
