Oprah Winfrey, Charlie Sheen and Ryan Seacrest are among television's biggest earners in various TV genres according to TV Guide magazine's annual breakdown of the medium's biggest money makers.
Hugh Laurie from House MD is the top earner in the TV drama category with a salary of $400 000+, followed by Chris Meloni and Mariska Hargitay from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit who get $395 000+ per episode each.
Oprah Winfrey leads the list of all talkers with a massive margin by making $315 million a year and American Idol host Ryan Seacrest is the reality king with an income of $15 million a year. Charlie Sheen of Two and a half Men makes $1,5 million per episode and is the top earner in the TV comedy category, followed by his co-star Jon Cryer getting $550 000 per episode.
