You might not be aware, but the upcoming court proceedings for the accused murderers of Eugene Terre'Blanche will not open for the media.
E.tv's eNews wants access to the court proceedings - but not for actual TV broadcasting purposes of what happens inside the court, merely to have an e.tv TV journalist present inside. I can now tell you that e.tv is going to court on this matter. I've asked e.tv for a comment or statement on the matter, and why eNews onsiders this important. E.tv's response is below.
''eNews is applying to the courts to have access to the bail hearing of Eugene Terre'Blanche's accused murderers. It is crucial for a TV reporter to be present at a case of such great public interest. eNews will not be asking the courts to film the proceedings and will ensure that the identity of the youth facing charges of murder, will be withheld.''
