I can tell you first that the audition day for Idols in Johannesburg yesterday for the sixth season of the reality show on M-Net has pulled a staggering queue of beyond 2 000 contestants.
I don't have an exact number yet, but it's a massive turnout for the sixth season of Idols which will be starting in July on the pay broadcaster. Last weekend I was first to tell you about the almost 1 000 Durban contestants and before that the more than 1 400 who showed up for the Cape Town auditions where the nationwide audition process kicked off.
I will hopefully have an exact number later today as well as be able to show you what happened.
