I can exclusively reveal that Liezel van der Westhuizen will be back as the presenter and host of the sixth season of Idols on M-Net.
I was first to tell you RIGHT HERE that Colin Moss won't be returning to Idols this year, and now sources have confirmed to me that Liezel van der Westhuizen will definitely be back for her second stint as Idols presenter. The nationwide auditions for the sixth season of Idols kick off in Cape Town in April.
UPDATE Monday 12:45 - Although my sources are absolutely credible, M-Net just informed me that M-Net ''has not made any final decisions regarding who presents Idols this year.'' The pay broadcaster says ''we are still in the process of finalizing possible candidates, and have not yet offered or signed a contract with anyone. As soon as we have, we will obviously communicate to the media but until then, speculations about hosts could prove to be inaccurate.''
