M-Net is bringing Idols back for another season. The pay broadcaster just announced that the reality show will return with auditions taking place in April, and the broadcast starting in July.
''Idols has always been a hugely popular show around the world and is a firm favourite with M-Net audiences,'' says Helen Smit, M-Net's head of local content.
''The show gives mega exposure to young singers who want to break into the South African entertainment industry and with some special surprises up our sleeves, this season will once again make musical waves.''
