Programming note. New season of Oprah starts today with Whitney Houston interview.

The 24th and brand-new season of The Oprah Winfrey Show officially kicks off today, Tuesday 19 January on SABC3 at 17:35. The new season starts with the two-part opener that's an exclusive Whitney Houston interview.

The episodes were recorded in New York's Town Hall Theatre and Whitney talks about her shocking marriage to Bobby Brown and the abuse, drugs, rehab and everything else in a very candid interview which Oprah calls one of her best ever.
